The IPA Group Community team would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has supported the launch of our new MyCommunity platform so far.
Whether you have logged in and had a look around the community, completed your profile, liked or read a post, commented on a post, or started a discussion, your engagement has really helped us to kick this community off to a great start.
As a thank you to all the members who have been active in the community so far, and an incentive to those who are yet to jump in, we’re excited to announce that a series of community badges are now available to reward our most engaged community users on the platform.
There are several categories currently available based on your activity within the community. For those who have been active since our launch, you’ll also receive an Early Adopter badge (you should already see this on your profile).
Points are awarded for taking actions such as:
- Completing your profile
- Starting and replying to discussion posts
- Making friend connections
- Other general community activities such as viewing posts and library entries, uploading library entries, and viewing members' profiles
If you’ve already earnt a badge, you'll be able to see these badges on your community profile card on the community homepage, and by navigating to your Profile by clicking on the icon at the top right next to the 'Create' button, then to the My Contributions tab > My Achievements. When the badges are full colour, it means you have earnt them. If they are slightly transparent, it means you are still working your way up to achieving them.
Check the Your Summary page (in the My Contributions tab drop down) to view how many Community Points you have earnt, and how many posts and library contributions you have made. To check the number of friend connections you have, click on the My Connections tab.
